Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

Your mission

As a Senior Accountant (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of NVision's financial reporting as we continue our international growth. Working closely with the Finance team, you will oversee core accounting activities, contribute to the implementation of dual reporting under HGB, IFRS, and US GAAP, and help drive the continuous improvement of our accounting processes. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, travel expenses, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, IFRS, and US GAAP.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing development of dual accounting and reporting under IFRS and US GAAP, ensuring seamless reconciliation between local GAAP (HGB) and international standards. 
  • Prepare financial reports and perform analytical reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners throughout audits and statutory reporting processes.
  • Assist with VAT returns, tax filings, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Drive the continuous improvement, automation, and digitalization of accounting processes.

Your profile

  • Educational background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting, ideally in an international MedTech, Life Sciences, or high-growth technology company.
  • Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS or US GAAP, ideally with experience in dual reporting environments or international accounting standards.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and coordinating external audits.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and hands-on with a structured way of working.
  • Solid understanding of internal control frameworks. 
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German is considered an advantage.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving priorities and changes.
  • Willingness to relocate to Ulm or travel at least once per month.
