Junior Pharmaceutical Development Scientist (m/f/d)

Your mission

We are looking for a Junior Scientist (m/f/d) to support laboratory activities within our Pharmaceutical Development team. In this role, you will perform container closure compatibility, formulation and stability studies supporting the development of pharmaceutical drug products. 

Your work will include analytical method development, solubility testing, sterilisation studies, container closure compatibility, sample preparation, and basic analytical testing. You will work closely with the wider development team to generate experimental data to support IND submission. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Perform formulation development and optimization studies. 
  • Conduct solubility, stability, and container closure compatibility studies. 
  • Support outsourced sterilisation feasibility studies, including autoclaving, gamma irradiation, and sterile filtration. 
  • Evaluate the impact of formulation and sterilisation conditions on product quality. 
  • Support with analytical testing. 
  • Prepare study protocols, technical summaries, and experimental reports. 
  • Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams and external CDMOs to coordinate studies and ensure successful execution.

Your profile

  • Degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or a related scientific field. 
  • Around two years of hands-on laboratory experience in pharmaceutical development, formulation, chemistry, or a related area is a must-have. 
  • Practical experience with formulation, solubility, stability, or compatibility studies. 
  • Ability to plan and execute laboratory studies independently following initial training and established protocols. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to document experimental work clearly and accurately. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners.
